CLIMATE.-
Nono is located in what locals call the “mouth of the mountain”. Strong winds originate from the east combine with moisture from the surrounding cloud forests and produce clouds that commonly fill the parroquia in the afternoons and evenings. The average temperature is between 14-15 C, though can drop as low as 7 C. The rainy season is approximately between the months of November and May, though due to climate change rains commonly fall throughout the year.
